With more than 30 years of dedication to the restaurant industry, Lee has a deep passion for this profession. He began his journey as a young dishwasher and quickly moved up from there, eventually working in different capacities within a variety of restaurants.  He is highly regarded among his peers and well-respected by his employees. Considered to be not only a leader but a mentor as well, Lee has trained and helped to professionally grow his management and staff with each restaurant team. His hope for The Copper Post is to bring Grand Haven familiar but different cuisine, incomparable hospitality, and a restaurant that is rooted in culture and respect. 



Jeremy Sowa has had a passion for cooking from a young age in his families kitchen. He graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago on the Executive Chef’s List before entering fine dining. Professionally, he has been working in a kitchen for 7 years. Jeremy stayed in Chicago, working at L2o, NAHA, and Brindille where he soaked in every tip and skill from each amazing Chef and Cook he worked with. Jeremy recently moved back to Michigan with his wife, son, and two pugs. A natural talent like Jeremy doesn't come along often and The Copper Post is thrilled to have him. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys watching Michigan football and spending time with family.
